Reception
flowers generally include a larger head-table
centerpiece (with or without candles) and a simpler
version of this design (bud-vases, bubble bowls or low
cylinders) for each of the guest tables. The bridal
bouquets in addition to the central centerpiece
fill-out the length of the head-table.
While
the style of reception flowers may vary from
traditional candle centerpieces to wildflower,
Edwardian, or avant-garde vases, a continuity should
exist between the bridal flowers and those of the
tables (i.e. color, type of flower).
Additional
reception flowers may include an arrangement for the
cake, gift, and guest book tables.
Elaborate
vases are quite nice and really make a stunning visual
impact on the entire reception area.
